Installation works are scheduled on Thursday10 September and Friday 11 September 2026 at Citiplace Car Park.

What’s Happening: Our contractors will be decommissioning the old boom gate equipment and installing new hardware, including advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras and Pay at Exit systems. This is a key step toward ticketless entry/exit and faster, more convenient parking for everyone.

To ensure safe and efficient work, we anticipate the following minor disruptions during the installation work:

• Temporary lane/entrance or exit closures - one or both lanes may be affected at times.
• Reduced access capacity – expect possible queuing or delays for vehicles entering/exiting.
• On-site presence of technicians and safety barriers – please give them space and follow any temporary signage.
• No full facility closure is planned – the car park will remain open, but flow may be slightly slower than usual.

Please allow additional time when planning your journey as delays may be experienced. We’ve scheduled this upgrade during a lower-traffic period to minimise inconvenience, and on-site staff will be available to assist customers and manage traffic as needed.

• Pay at Exit — drive in, park and pay only when you leave. Alternately, payment machines will still be available to pay for your parking before exiting.
