The City of Perth is continuing its investment in enhancing the comfort, safety, and accessibility of public amenities across the city. As part of this ongoing program, the Pier Street Car Park Public Toilets Upgrade will commence on Monday, 27 October 2025, with works expected to be completed by late January 2026.

The upgrade will include a full refurbishment of the existing facilities to improve accessibility, safety, and overall user experience. Works will involve modernising internal finishes, upgrading fixtures and fittings, improving lighting and ventilation, and ensuring compliance with current building and accessibility standards.

During construction, the toilets will be temporarily closed to the public. Clear Signage with QR code linking to the National Public Toilet Map will be placed around the site to help users locate nearby facilities.

The City appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while these important upgrades are completed. Once finished, the revitalised Pier Street facilities will provide a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming space for everyone visiting the area.
